Marketing and media policy
Ohio Cannabis VIP · October 14, 2026
Our communications promote lawful cannabis-community membership and private events. They do not promote cannabis sales, gifting schemes, illegal drug activity, impaired driving, or unlawful consumption.
Adult audience and accurate claims
Marketing is intended for adults 21+. We do not target children or imply cannabis products are included in fees. We do not promise medical benefits, business success, guaranteed connections, guaranteed admission, guaranteed event schedules, or absolute safety. Event dates, venues, prices, availability, and any sponsored relationship must be represented accurately. “Private” and “secret” describe restricted event information, not an exemption from law.
Optional email permission
Promotional email consent is optional and unchecked by default. We record the submitted choice. Marketing messages must identify the sender truthfully, include any legally required advertising disclosure and valid postal address, and provide a simple opt-out. Marketing opt-outs must be honored within 10 business days; the opt-out method must remain available for at least 30 days after a message is sent. Membership does not remove these rights. No SMS or automated-call marketing consent is requested by this application.
Member administration
Necessary account, membership, safety, and transaction notices are handled according to their actual purpose. Promotional event invitations are not automatically treated as exempt transactional messages. We will not use membership administration to conceal marketing or bypass an opt-out.
Photos, videos, and publicity
No event photographs or video may be made without advance organizer approval and permission from identifiable attendees. No live broadcasts or video communications during events. Waiver acceptance does not grant a publicity license. Any optional media release is separate from membership and waiver signing. Do not identify attendees, tag them, publish private addresses, or share private conversations without permission. Lawful emergency assistance and reporting of wrongdoing are not restricted.
Partners and disclosures
Sponsors, affiliates, or collaborators must follow the same restrictions and disclose material paid relationships where required. Member contact lists must not be supplied to sponsors for their own marketing without separate permission. Report a marketing or privacy concern using the private contact request form.
