Ohio Cannabis VIP · October 14, 2026

Information collected

Applications collect your name, email address, city or area, confirmation that you are 21 or older, acknowledgement of membership rules, optional email-marketing choice, and submission time. Contact requests collect the details you choose to send. Accounts store a username, email, display name, hashed password, access status, and membership expiry. Once finalized waiver signing opens, records include your typed signature, affirmative acknowledgements, signed document text, document version/hash, account identity, and server-recorded time. Hosts may verify age in person. Do not upload identification, medical records, cannabis-use history, or card numbers here.

Technical information and cookies

WordPress uses necessary login/security cookies. Hosting, CDN, and security services may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, and browser information. This application uses short-lived keyed hashes of IP addresses and emails to limit repeated submissions; it does not store raw IP addresses in the membership application record. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which can receive network information such as your IP address when fonts are requested. No advertising pixels or audience-tracking scripts were added in this build. Existing hosting/plugin services may have their own operational processing.

Why we use information

We use information to review applications, manage access, process requests, maintain evidence of consent, protect event privacy, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Optional marketing is handled separately from necessary membership administration. We do not publish a member directory or application details. Event addresses are restricted to approved active members.

Who may receive it

Authorized administrators and operational service providers, including Hostinger hosting and WordPress infrastructure, may process information needed to run the site. If a payment or signature provider is connected later, its identity and policies will be disclosed before information is sent. We may disclose information where legally required or reasonably necessary to address security incidents, protect people, or establish or defend legal claims. Membership information is not made available to event sponsors for their own marketing without separate permission. We do not operate a sale of application or membership data.

Payments

No payment processing is active on this site. A future approved hosted checkout will handle card details directly; do not send card information through our application or contact forms. The website may retain a payment reference and confirmation for membership administration rather than full card numbers.

Retention and security

Application, account, contact, and signed-consent records are retained while needed for review, membership administration, legal obligations, or dispute handling. Hosting logs and backups may follow service-provider schedules. A fixed retention period has not yet been adopted. We restrict access and use HTTPS, but cannot guarantee absolute security. We will assess deletion requests and explain any lawful reason to retain records.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access or correct your information, request deletion, withdraw optional marketing permission, or close your account using the contact form. We will verify requests reasonably and respond as required by applicable law. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless a secure verification method is specifically arranged. Declining marketing does not block membership applications. Required account, safety, and transaction messages may still be sent.

Adults only and policy changes

This service is for adults 21+. Do not submit information for a child. Notify us if a minor’s information was submitted. Material changes to data practices will be reflected in this notice, and additional consent will be sought where required. This policy is not a promise that every privacy law has the same scope nationwide.
